And then you hear it... carried by the breeze, right beside you,, in the elevator, on the sidewalk.... a babies laugh: pure, untainted, joy. There is no better sound in this world than that of a babies laugh.

You're ready. You're dressed. You're out the door. You go on about your day. Then suddenly, the button pops off of your pants. You panic. You look down, hold the rim of your pants, and are surprised to see the loose button just a few feet away. You pick it up. You still panic. But wait... it hits you.... All of those times you spent defending the "useless" things you carry in your bag.... useless items like the miniature sewing kit... And to think they laughed at you, well whose laughing now... or at least smiling.
